When lighting your candle for the first time, allow it to make a full melt pool, meaning the wax has fully melted from one side of the candle to the other. This can take up to 3 hours. Every time you use your candle you should allow it to make a full melt pool to prevent tunnelling which can shorten the life of the candle.
Only burn your candle until it creates a full melt pool. Once the melt pool is created extinguish your candle using a candle extinguisher.
Burning your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time will shorten the life of the candle as it will make the vessel too hot causing the candle to melt quicker.
Wick maintenance is key for perfect burning. Trim the wick to between 5-6 mm before each burn. This ensures the candle will burn evenly.
